Our concert at Llanfair DC was very interesting. It was held at the Community centre and was intended to raise money for the Nightingale Hospice.
The two other acts on the bill were both excellently received by an enthusiastic audience, so the whole night went well.
Rose Hislop who organised the event tells me today that they raised over a £1000 pounds, which is a brilliant result. So, well done everyone concerned including the audience itself.
It was a somewhat sad night for us in the TDH band as it was the last time Raphael will be playing with us. He's a marvellous musician who has contributed greatly to the band and he will be missed. In recent months he has been doing more individual gigs (he's a fine guitarist and singer, as well as a great harmonica player) and he wants to expand on that approach to his own musical career.
